For those who need more time to transition, we have an interim solution: V18 Update 9A.
Why Upgrade to V18 Update 9A?
V18 Update 9A ensures that your telephony system remains functional and secure during your transition to V20. Here’s what Update 9A offers:
- Extended Android Push Support: Continue receiving Android push notifications until 2024.
- Extended iOS Push Support: iOS push notifications are supported until April 25, 2025.
- License Certificate Renewal: Activate your server on V18 until February 28, 2025.
Deadlines to Note for V18 Users
- Android Push Notifications: Support ends at the end of 2024.
- Apple Push Notifications: Support ends on April 25, 2025.
- Debian 10 Security Updates: No further updates will be published beyond July 2024. Ensure your system is behind a firewall and regularly monitored.
We do not anticipate any further updates to V18, so planning your upgrade to V20 is crucial.
V20 Migration Deadlines
- Hosted by 3CX: Deadline extended to September 1, 2024.
- NFRs (Not for Resale licenses): The deadline has been extended to July 1, 2024.
- Free 4SC Licenses: Upgrade and register before July 1, 2024. Follow these steps to do so.
Get Started with Your Upgrade
To upgrade your V18 installation to Update 9A, simply click on the latest update in your Management Console labeled “New V18.0 Update 9A”. The download links and marketplace instances for V18 will all automatically update to Version 9A.
